The Arizona Diamondbacks have agreed to a two-year, $6 million deal with Japanese reliever Yoshihisa Hirano.

Hirano, 34, had 29 saves this season for the Orix Buffaloes of Japan's Pacific League. He spent his entire 11-year career with the Buffaloes, recording a 48-69 record with a 3.10 ERA in 68 starts and 481 relief appearances.

CC Sabathia has agreed to return to the Yankees, the veteran pitcher's agent told MLB.com on Saturday.

Sabathia will sign a one-year, $10 million deal after he passes a physical, sources confirmed to ESPN. MLB.com first reported the terms of Sabathia's agreement.

Right-handed starter Yovani Gallardo has agreed to a deal with the Brewers, according to multiple reports.

Gallardo was 5-10 with a 5.72 ERA in 28 games (22 starts) with the Mariners last season.

Santana has played his entire career with the Cleveland Indians. After playing catcher and third base, he has developed into an elite defender at first base.

The Washington Nationals have agreed to a two-year deal with reliever Brandon Kintzler, according to several reports.

The right-hander will receive $10 million guaranteed in the deal.

The Nationals acquired Kintzler from the Minnesota Twins at the trade deadline last July.

The Chicago Cubs have agreed to a two-year deal with Drew Smyly worth $10 million.

Smyly can earn $7 million in performance bonuses, according to a source.

He never threw a pitch for the Seattle Mariners in 2017 because of arm troubles that led to Tommy John surgery in June. Smyly will likely miss most, if not all, of the coming season as well.

Smyly, 27, is 31-27 with a 3.74 ERA over parts of five seasons with the Detroit Tigers and Tampa Bay Rays.

The Colorado Rockies have agreed to a three-year, $27 million deal with reliever Bryan Shaw, according to sources.

Shaw, 30, appeared in a Major League-high 79 games as the primary setup man for the Cleveland Indians last season.

He earned $4.6 million in 2017.

The St. Louis Cardinals have agreed to a two-year, $11 million deal with reliever Luke Gregerson, a source told ESPN's Buster Olney.

The deal includes a vesting option for 2020.

The 33-year-old right-hander struggled some with Houston last season. In 61 innings, he had a 4.57 ERA, marking the third straight year his ERA rose from the previous season.

After an impressive performance against them in the NLCS, the Cubs have agreed to a two-year deal with free-agent right-hander Brandon Morrow, according to sources familiar with the situation.

The club has not confirmed the signing.

Morrow, 33, pitched for the Dodgers last season, compiling a 2.06 ERA with 2 saves in 45 games.

The Texas Rangers have agreed to a contract with Mike Minor pending a physical, according to a source.

Minor underwent shoulder surgery in May 2015 and did not pitch in the Major Leagues that year or in 2016.
